Detection background
The moisture permeability of a fabric refers to the ability of water to pass through the fabric in the form of steam, and the fabric's ability to permeate gaseous water. The stronger the moisture permeability of the clothing, the stronger the ability of the sweat emitted by the human body during exercise to be conducted to the outside in the form of water vapor through the fabric, and the more comfortable it is to wear. Fabric moisture permeability testing can use the moisture absorption method and the evaporation method to determine the moisture permeability of the fabric.

TEST PRINCIPLE
Moisture absorption method: Place a moisture-permeable cup containing desiccant and sealed with a fabric sample in a sealed environment with specified temperature and humidity, and calculate the moisture permeability, moisture permeability and moisture permeability coefficient of the sample based on the change in mass of the moisture-permeable cup within a certain period of time.
Evaporation method: Place a moisture-permeable cup filled with distilled water at a certain temperature and sealed with a fabric sample in a sealed environment with specified temperature and humidity. Based on the change in mass of the moisture-permeable cup within a certain period of time, the moisture permeability, moisture permeability and moisture permeability coefficient of the sample are calculated.
