Detection background
Breathability refers to the ability of air to pass through a fabric. Expressed as the rate at which the airflow passes vertically through the specimen under specified test area, pressure drop and time conditions. The breathability of the fabric directly affects the wearing performance of the fabric: for example, fabrics used in summer are expected to have better air permeability, while fabric outerwear used in winter should have less air permeability to ensure that the clothes have good windproof performance and prevent large amounts of heat from dissipating.

TEST PRINCIPLE
Under the specified pressure difference condition, measure the air flow rate vertically passing through a given area of the sample within a certain period of time, and calculate the air permeability. The air flow rate can be measured directly or converted by measuring the pressure difference on both sides of the flow aperture.
