Strength detection of seams of knitted fabrics and elastic woven fabrics

To test the seam strength of knitted fabrics and elastic woven fabrics, the constant velocity elongation (CRE) tester can be used to measure the armpit seam strength of knitted tops. The steel ball bursting method and diaphragm bursting method are used to measure the seam strength and bursting expansion of knitted fabrics and elastic woven fabrics. The parallel stretching method and the vertical stretching method are used to measure the linear seam strength and elongation of knitted fabrics and elastic woven fabrics.

Knitted top armpit seam: Cut a sample of a certain size from the knitted top armpit seam, clamp the sample according to the prescribed method, and stretch it at a constant elongation speed until it breaks. Record the maximum force required for rupture and the possible reasons for the rupture.
seam strength and expansion: uses a ring holder of specified size to hold a sample containing a seam, so that the seam passes through the center of the circle of the holder, and a spherical body exerts vertical pressure on one side of the sample until the sample ruptures.
Straight line joint strength and elongation: Use clamps of specified size to clamp the middle part of the sample containing a joint, and apply a constant elongation rate along the horizontal or vertical direction of the sample joint until the sample breaks.
