Detection background
Arching deformation refers to the phenomenon that the surface of the fabric protrudes or swells when a specific area of the fabric is acted upon by external force. Fabric arching and deformation detection can use three testing methods, namely constant pressure stretching method, constant elongation stretching method and tensile recovery method, to measure the phenomenon of fabric arching and deformation.

TEST PRINCIPLE
A specimen of a certain size is flatly clamped in a ring-shaped clamping device, and a hemisphere simulating the size of an elbow is used to push the specimen to be tested to a certain height or a specific pressure value. After holding for a certain period of time, the pressure load on the hemisphere is released, and after the specimen is allowed to recover for a certain period of time, the arching residual rate is used to characterize the specimen's arching deformation recovery ability within that time period.
