Test Background
The bursting strength of a coated fabric is often used as a measure of the multidirectional modulus of a material, unlike tensile properties which only provide the strength of the coated fabric in one plane. In addition, the bursting strength test is more suitable for testing materials that have a tendency to shrink, such as coated fabrics with knitted fabrics as the skeleton material.

Test Principle
Steel ball method: The specimen is firmly clamped between ring-shaped clamps with precise coaxiality.
A polished steel ball applies pressure to the specimen at a constant speed until rupture occurs. Record the force and the displacement of the steel ball when the rupture occurs. Hydraulic method: The edge of the specimen can be firmly clamped by the upper and lower clamping plates.
A rubber membrane is installed under the lower splint, and liquid is injected into the cavity under the membrane at a constant speed, causing the membrane to gradually extend, bulge, and come into contact with the sample, exerting pressure on the sample.
Record the pressure of the fluid and the height of the film bulge when the sample is destroyed.
