Test Background

The rubber-to-fabric bonding strength test refers to a method of measuring the bonding strength between rubber and fabric under direct tension on rubber-coated fabric materials that are uniform in thickness, flat or sufficiently flexible, and can remain flat under low pressure. It is especially suitable for materials whose rubber layer is very thin and difficult to test by test strip method or peeling method.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various rubber or plastic coated fabric materials and products, and provides professional rubber and fabric bonding strength testing services for coated fabrics.

Test Principle

Use a suitable adhesive to adhere the metal post to the opposite specimen surface and measure the pulling force required to separate the rubber from the fabric. This pulling force is exerted along the axis of the metal column.
