Oil diffusion performance test of coated fabrics

Oil diffusion performance test of coated fabrics-Physical Performance Testing-

Test Background

Oil diffusion performance has the same meaning as oil permeability, liquid permeability, oil permeability, etc., but the names and descriptions are different. The oil diffusion performance test of coated fabrics is a test method that uses the cup method to determine the oil diffusion resistance of rubber or plastic coated fabrics or rubber materials. It can test the performance of single-sided coated fabrics, double-sided coated fabrics and rubber materials.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various rubber or plastic coated fabric materials and products, and provides professional oil diffusion performance testing services for coated fabrics.

Test Principle

Cover the mouth of the test cup filled with the test liquid with the coated fabric or film to be tested, tightly seal the cup mouth, and place the test cup upside down on a well-ventilated grid at the specified test temperature. After a certain period of time, test the mass change of the test cup to determine the oil diffusion rate of the test liquid under the static pressure of the coated fabric or film to be tested.

Test standard:

GB/T 34705-2017 Rubber or plastic coated fabrics - Determination of oil diffusion properties - Cup method
GB/T 2941 Rubber physical test methods General procedures for specimen preparation and adjustment
GB/T3512 Vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber Hot air accelerated aging and heat resistance test
