Coated fabric coating layer bonding strength test-Physical Performance Testing-

Test Background

Because bonding strength is too low, product delamination often results in product functional failure, so it is important to understand the bonding strength between the coating layer and adjacent layers. Coating layer bond strength determination refers to a method of evaluating the bond strength of plastic or vulcanized rubber coated fabrics by measurement.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to conduct environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various rubber or plastic coated fabric materials and products, and provides professional coating layer bonding strength measurement services for coated fabrics.

Test method

1. Adjust the tensile testing machine so that the moving speed of the clamp is (100±10) mm/min. Select the appropriate load range.
2. Clamp the peeled ends of the prepared sample into the two clamps of the testing machine to ensure that the sample is kept in the center position and that the sample is flat and moderately tight. Make measurement marks at a distance of 50 mm between the specimens.
3. Start the testing machine and turn on the stress-strain curve recording device. Observe the distance between the measurement marks. When the specimens are separated by 20mm, record the position on the stress-strain curve.
4. Continue the separation to about 100mm or more, so that the measurement mark separation of the sample is at least 200mm greater than at the beginning, that is, 100mm of the coated fabric has been separated.
