Vibration test of automotive plastic products

The temperature resistance test of automotive plastic products can measure the vibration resistance of the product. The resonance point measurement test can measure the resonant frequency and its acceleration of the product, and can approximately evaluate or compare the dynamic rigidity of the product; the vibration durability test can check the durability of the product against vibration.

1. Polycarbonate plastic: lamps, instrument signs, sun visors, window glass, bumpers, etc.;
2. RIM plastic: bumpers, radiator grilles, spoilers, fenders, etc.;
3. Polyethylene plastic: damping materials for fenders, ceilings and doors, trunk mats, air ducts, gasoline tanks, etc.;
4. Polyvinyl chloride plastic: instrument panel cover, car roof lining, rear cover skin, spare tire cover, steering wheel, bumper cover, wire coating, etc.;
5. Polypropylene plastic: heating and ventilation systems, cabins, engine compartments, car bodies, light housings, tool boxes, wire terminals, junction box covers, silencers, etc.;
6. ABS plastic: rear fenders, instrument panels, radio covers, air exhaust pipes, steering wheel horn covers, grilles, rear guards, upper ventilation covers, wheel covers, blinds, brackets, mirror frames, etc.;

1. Test sequence: First conduct the resonance point determination test, and then conduct the durability test.
2. Sample installation The sample should be installed on the vibration table in conditions close to the use state.
3. Vibration application method: Simple harmonic vibrations in the orthogonal directions of up and down, left and right, and front and back are given in sequence relative to the installation method of the specimen. However, in principle, the harmonic content rate of simple harmonic vibration is 25% or less of the vibration acceleration.
4. Test temperature In principle, the test temperature is set to the standard temperature of 23±5 C.
