Camera crash test-Mechanical Testing-

Test Background

The impact test is an experiment used to evaluate the impact resistance of transport packages to withstand repeated mechanical collisions during transportation and the ability of the packaging to protect the contents. It can be used as a single test or as part of a series of tests. The camera crash test determines the camera's ability to withstand impacts during transportation.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various cameras and provides professional crash testing services for cameras.

Scope of tests

Divided by viewing method: single-lens reflex camera, twin-lens reflex camera, rangefinder camera
Divided by degree of automation: fully mechanical manual cameras, automatic exposure cameras, automatic focus cameras, digital cameras

Test method

1. Conduct appearance inspection and performance testing on the samples according to the product standards related to the test samples.
2. Collide the test sample 1,000 times in each direction on three mutually perpendicular axes (6,000 times in total). For samples marked with specified directions, only the specified directions are tested (1,000 tests in each direction).

Test standard:

JB/T 13702.4-2019 Camera Environmental Test Part 4: Crash Test
GB/T 4857.20-1992 Packaging Transport packages Crash test method
