Test Background
Tensile testing is one of the most common testing methods in material mechanical property testing. High temperature tensile testing is one of the most common testing methods to evaluate the mechanical properties of materials at high temperatures. Especially for materials used at high temperatures, its testing data is the most basic and essential.
The high-temperature tensile test of metal materials can measure the tensile properties of metal materials at temperatures higher than room temperature. Scope of tests
1. Ferrous metals: steel, copper, iron, manganese, etc.
2. Non-ferrous metals: magnesium alloy, copper alloy, zinc alloy, tin alloy and aluminum alloy, etc.
Test method
1. The test system uses tensile force to stretch the sample, usually until it breaks, to measure one or several mechanical properties. The test is conducted at a temperature above 35°C, that is, above the specified room temperature.
2. The tensile properties are fixed and the upper yield strength, lower yield strength, specified plastic elongation strength, tensile strength, elongation after fracture, shrinkage of area, etc. are measured.
