Detection background
The tensile elasticity of a fabric refers to the fabric's ability to recover from tensile deformation under a small load smaller than its breaking strength. Fabrics are often subjected to repeated stretching forces during use, and the stretching forces are often not too large.
Therefore, when evaluating the tensile properties of fabrics, the tensile elasticity of fabrics under repeated small loads has more practical significance for the durability and shape retention of fabrics.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to test the reliability performance of various textile raw materials and products, and provides professional tensile elasticity testing services for woven fabrics in textiles.
Detection Range
Woven fabrics for clothing: cotton fabrics, linen fabrics, wool fabrics, silk fabrics, plain fabrics, twill fabrics, satin fabrics, wide fabrics, narrow fabrics and belt fabrics, etc.
Decorative woven fabrics: quilt tops, quilt covers, bed sheets, terry quilts, pillow covers, sofa covers, chair covers, curtain fabrics, wall coverings, carpets, curtain fabrics, tablecloths, towels, bath towels, etc.
TEST PRINCIPLE
The fabric is stretched with a constant elongation or a constant force to produce deformation. After a specified time, the tensile force is released, so that the residual elongation is measured after recovery for a specified time. Based on this, the elastic recovery rate and plastic deformation rate are calculated to characterize the tensile elasticity of the fabric.
