Environmental testing of ground radio navigation equipment

Environmental testing of ground radio navigation equipment-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The so-called environmental test is to expose the products to the natural environment or artificial simulated environment to evaluate the performance of the storage, transportation and use conditions they may actually encounter. Through environmental testing, the adaptability and tolerance of the product under various environmental conditions can be observed, early failures can be eliminated, potential defects of the product can be fully exposed, and information can be provided for product improvement, maintenance and support cost reduction; verification data and effective information can be provided for failure analysis.
In the cycle of "discovery-analysis-correction", product quality is continuously improved. The environmental test of ground radio navigation equipment can measure its adaptability in low temperature, high temperature, low pressure, sand, dust, vibration and other environments.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to conduct environmental testing of various navigation equipment, and provides professional environmental testing services such as low-temperature testing, high-temperature testing, and low-pressure testing for ground radio navigation equipment.

Scope of tests

Ground radio navigation equipment is an integral part of the radio navigation system.
Ground equipment can be divided into three parts: heading beacon, glide beacon, pointing beacon or range finder. When the rangefinder is part of an instrument landing system, it is usually mounted on the glide beacon.

Test Items

Product standards should stipulate the sequence of environmental tests. When no provision is made, the following order shall apply.
a. Low temperature test;
b. High temperature test;
c. Low pressure test;
d. Solar radiation test;
c. Sand and dust test;
f. Impact test;
g. Crash test;
h. Vibration test;
i. Sports car test;
j Rain test;
0 k. Alternating heat and humidity test;
1 l. Mold growth test;
2 m. Salt spray test.
