Environmental test of paint and varnish resistance to cyclic corrosion

The corrosion resistance test of paints and varnishes mainly includes neutral salt spray resistance performance test, moisture resistance performance test, filamentous corrosion resistance test of aluminum and aluminum alloy surface coatings (paints and varnishes), filamentous corrosion resistance test of coatings on steel surfaces (paints and varnishes), Determination of cathodic stripping resistance of coatings (paints and varnishes) exposed to seawater, determination of cyclic corrosion resistance of paints and varnishes, determination of liquid resistance of paints and varnishes, performance requirement testing and durability testing of protective coatings for offshore platforms and related structures, etc.
The cyclic corrosion environment test of paints and varnishes can use specified solutions to determine the coating's resistance to any of four specified cycles of wet (salt spray)/dry/humidity environments. Color paint is divided into primer and topcoat: primer is divided into primer, putty, mid-coat, sealer, anti-rust paint, etc.; topcoat is divided into enamel paint, special topcoat, etc.
The paint and film of varnish are transparent and are divided into ester varnish, shellac varnish, phenolic varnish, alkyd varnish, acrylic varnish, polyester varnish, high-performance varnish, fluorocarbon varnish, etc.

Wet (salt spray)/dry/moisture test: Painted test panels are exposed to a periodically changing wet (salt spray)/dry/moisture test cycle, and the exposure results are then evaluated according to criteria agreed upon in advance by the parties involved, which are often subjective.
