Test Background
Environmental adaptability has always been an important part of the tire research and development process. Everything from basic material research to complete vehicle products needs to be tested and verified through environmental tests. As rubber and the materials it shares with it age over time and environmental challenges, the physical properties of tires and rubber products can degrade and even begin to crack.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various tires and provides professional aging testing services for automobile tires.
Scope of tests
Passenger car tires, light truck tires, and truck tires.
Test method
1. The aging box should be installed and placed in a laboratory with an indoor ambient temperature of 23℃±5℃.
2. During tire aging, the temperature of the aging box is maintained at 65°C ± 1°C (except for periodic air pressure checks). If the test temperature cannot be maintained, the tire should be replaced with a new one and the test repeated.
3. - Tire aging time is 35 days.
