Test Background
The xenon lamp aging test is aimed at the outdoor sun exposure environment. It can simulate the full spectrum of the sun exposure environment and truly restore the changes of the product under long-term sun exposure conditions. It can provide corresponding environmental simulation and light-accelerated aging tests for scientific research, product development and quality control. The xenon lamp aging test of automobile non-metallic parts can use controlled irradiance xenon lamp equipment to test and evaluate the accelerated aging of automobile non-metallic parts and materials.

is suitable for automotive plastics, rubber, fabrics, leather, adhesives, coatings and other non-metallic parts and materials.
Test method
1. Expose the test sample according to the operating instructions of the test equipment so that the surface of the test sample receives uniform irradiance.
2. Textiles used for interior parts should be tested with white cardboard as a backing. Test specimens of other types than textiles that are smaller than the specimen holder should be backed with white cardboard.
3. In order to maintain consistent test conditions, all empty spaces on the specimen rack should be filled with flat plates made of inert, non-reflective materials (such as white cardboard, etc.). If the flat plates are significantly deformed, they should be replaced.
4. Different test samples that have mutual influence on the test results should not be installed in the same test chamber at the same time for testing.
5. Select the test method and set the amount of irradiation or time required for each test. It is recommended to use reference materials for comparison during the test process.
