Test Background
The submarine periscope environmental test can determine the environmental adaptability of the periscope body, peripheral equipment and control cabinets of painted parts, printed boards, wires and cables in specific environmental conditions, such as adaptability in a vibration environment, mildew resistance, salt spray corrosion resistance, etc.
The Zhongke Inspection Reliability Experiment Center has the capabilities of environmental testing and reliability performance testing of various submarine periscopes, and provides professional environmental testing services such as low temperature testing, high temperature testing, temperature difference testing, and salt spray testing for submarine periscopes.
Trial objective
Internal pressure test: assess and evaluate the ability of the periscope eyepiece outer shell group to withstand internal hydrostatic pressure.
Vibration test: assess and evaluate the adaptability of the periscope body and peripheral equipment in a vibration environment.
Vibration excitation test: assess and evaluate the adaptability of the periscope body to the influence of self-excited vibration on its strength and stability when used during submarine navigation.
Sealing test: assess and evaluate the air-tightness performance of the periscope body.
External pressure test: assess and evaluate the ability of the head of the periscope body to withstand external hydrostatic pressure.
Low temperature test: Evaluate the adaptability of the equipment under test to work and store in low temperature environments.
High temperature test: Evaluate the adaptability of the tested equipment to work in low temperature environment.
Temperature difference test: assess and evaluate the adaptability of the periscope body to work when the upper and lower parts have a temperature difference of 60°C.
Constant humidity and heat test: Evaluate the adaptability of periscope electrical equipment and surface treatment parts to work under high temperature and high humidity environmental conditions.
Mold testing: Identifies the mold resistance of components and materials used in periscope equipment.
Salt spray test: Determine the ability of the components used in the periscope equipment and the metal protective chamber to resist salt spray corrosion.
Test method
1. Periscope body test sequence: Internal pressure test → Vibration (transportation test) → Vibration test → Sealing test → External pressure test → Low temperature test → High temperature test → Temperature difference test
2. Periscope peripheral equipment test sequence: Vibration (transportation) test → low temperature test → high temperature test
3. Periscope control cabinet test sequence: low temperature test → high temperature test → vibration (working vibration) test → vibration test → constant humidity and heat test
4. The test sequence of periscope equipment: periscope body test → periscope peripheral equipment test → periscope control cabinet test → mold test → salt spray test
Mold and salt spray test objects include the periscope body, peripheral equipment and painted parts, printed boards, wires and cables in the control cabinet.
