Test Background

Under high temperature conditions without the influence of any external force, the use of tape below 70 will not have much impact, but its peel strength will decrease, and as the temperature increases, the holding power of the tape will also decrease significantly; while the tape below zero will freeze. In this case, if it vibrates, the frozen tape will separate from the base material and adherend.
The high-temperature and high-humidity aging test of adhesive tapes can measure the changes in physical or chemical properties of adhesive tapes in high-temperature and high-humidity test environments. Scope of tests

According to the base material: it can be divided into BOPP tape, cloth tape, kraft paper tape, masking tape, fiber tape, PVC tape, PE foam tape, etc.
According to the scope of application: it can be divided into warning tape, carpet tape, electrical tape, protective film paper tape, stretch film tape, sealing tape, module tape, etc.
According to market penetration rate: it can be divided into ordinary tape and special tape.
According to the application environment temperature: it can be divided into low temperature tape, normal temperature tape and high temperature tape.

Test method

The adhesive tape is placed in a high temperature and high humidity test environment. After being parked for a sufficient time, the changes in the physical or chemical properties of the adhesive tape are measured to obtain the performance parameters of the adhesive tape's resistance to high temperature and high humidity aging.
The high-temperature and high-humidity aging method of the adhesive tape can be carried out by placing a dryer with artificially prepared moisturizing solution in an oven, or a constant temperature and humidity oven can be used directly.
