Test Background
The purpose of the optical and photonics instrument wet air test is to study the effects of sulfur dioxide or hydrogen sulfide on the optical, climatic, mechanical, chemical and electrical (including electrostatic) properties of the sample.

Test method
The sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide used for the test should be chemically pure gases taken from natural compressed cylinders.
During the test, the sample should not be directly exposed to sunlight, and there should be no condensation in the test box (room) or the sample itself. Therefore, before putting it into the test box (room), the sample should be heated to 2K or 3K higher than the preset test box (room) temperature.
If multiple specimens are tested simultaneously, there should be no contact between the specimens or between the specimens and the walls of the test chamber (chamber). The sample volume should not exceed 50% of the test box (chamber) volume (exposure area). After the test starts, the sample should reach the required test conditions within 2 hours. The test shall not be interrupted during the required exposure time.
When the test gas is changed, all the test gas used last time should be exhausted from the test box (chamber). Materials that absorb sulfur dioxide and hydrogen sulfide should not be used in the test chamber (chamber).
