Photon Instrument Solar Radiation and Weathering Test-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The purpose of the solar radiation and weathering test for optical and photonic instruments is to study the degree of change in the optical, climatic, mechanical, chemical and electrical (including electrostatic) properties of the sample affected by solar radiation or wind energy (solar irradiation, moisture and heat).
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various optical and photonics instruments, and provides professional environmental testing services such as solar radiation and weathering testing for optical and photonics instrument products.

Scope of tests

All optical and photonic instruments including ancillary components from other fields (such as mechanical, chemical and electronic equipment)

Test method

1. Solar radiation test
Severity levels are distinguished according to the internal temperature, relative humidity, circulating air speed, total irradiance, total exposure time, total radiation intensity, test procedures, number of cycles, working status and other items in the test chamber.
2. Laboratory weathering test
The purpose of laboratory weathering tests is to determine the combined effects of simulated solar radiation and moist heat acting simultaneously on test samples and the resulting chemical and physical degradation processes.
