Optical instrument low temperature, high temperature and damp heat test-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

The purpose of the low-temperature, high-temperature and hygrothermal test of optical and photonic instruments is to study the degree of changes in the optical, climatic, mechanical, chemical and electrical (including electrostatic) properties of the sample affected by temperature and humidity.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various optical and photonics instruments, and provides professional environmental testing services such as low-temperature testing, high-temperature testing, and damp-heat testing for optical and photonics instrument products.

Scope of tests

All optical and photonic instruments including ancillary components from other fields (such as mechanical, chemical and electronic equipment)

Test method

1. Constant stress state test
During the exposure of the specimen to the constant stress state, the temperature change should be very slow to prevent damage to the specimen. When using high temperature test or damp heat test, the maximum relative humidity should be maintained during the temperature change stage, and whether condensation (condensation) can occur on the sample should be stated in the relevant specifications.

2. Cyclic exposure test
When performing temperature gradient tests and temperature mutation tests, the temperature difference between the sample temperature and the test chamber (room) temperature should be within 3K and last until the specified residence time. For some large specimens, if the specified residence time cannot meet the requirements, pre-testing can be performed to determine the required residence time.
