Test Background
The official term of the weather resistance test refers to the test of the weather resistance of the coating or coating. It is an important indicator for evaluating the durability of the coating or coating. Any material will age during use, especially plastic products for facilities along highways. They are exposed to the sun and rain all the time. The irradiation of the sun will produce ultraviolet rays, which destroy the internal structure of the molecules. The moisture will bring moisture, which directly erodes the overall material and its parts, causing the performance of the entire product to rapidly degrade.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the ability to conduct environmental testing of plastic products for various facilities along the highway, and provides professional weather resistance testing services such as temperature alternating resistance testing, high temperature and humidity resistance testing, thermal oxygen aging resistance testing, and cyclic salt spray corrosion resistance testing.
Scope of tests
According to the different forms of product composition, plastic products for facilities along highways are generally divided into the following two categories:
Category I (finished products) mainly refers to plastic products and glass fiber reinforced plastic products based on synthetic resin, such as: pipes, pipe boxes, anti-glare boards, toll booths, sign base plates, communication manhole covers, etc.;
Category II (external coating anti-corrosion layer) mainly refers to products made of plastic-based technical materials. The plastic is coated on metal components through extrusion, electrostatic spraying, dipping and plastic paste or fluidized bed powder, such as: external plastic coatings for protective facilities and isolation facilities, external plastic coatings for electromechanical facilities, etc.
