Sand and dust test of electrical and electronic products

Electronic and electrical product sand and dust test can determine the impact of sand and dust suspended in the air on the product. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has environmental testing capabilities for various electrical and electronic products, and provides professional sand and dust testing and other services for electrical and electronic products.

1. Dust invades the casing;
2. Changes in electrical performance, such as contact failure, change in contact resistance, change in track resistance;
3. Stuck or obstacles in moving parts such as bearings and axles;
4. Surface wear (corrosion);
5. Contamination of optical surfaces and lubricants;
6. Blockage of vents, casings, conduits, filters, holes, etc.

1. Non-abrasive fine dust test
Mainly used to test the sealing performance of samples. The test specimens are exposed to talc or other equivalent very fine dust. The effect of different air pressures inside and outside the sample due to temperature changes can be reproduced.
2. Free dust fall test
Used to simulate the impact of sand and dust in protected areas. The sample is exposed to a low-density dusty atmosphere with intermittent injections of small amounts of dust that fall onto the sample due to gravity.
3. Sand blowing test
It is mainly used to simulate the sealing performance and abrasive effects of sand and dust on samples under outdoor and vehicle environmental conditions. The sample is exposed to turbulent or laminar airflow entrained with a certain amount of dust, sand, or sand-dust mixture.
