Low temperature test of security equipment

Low temperature test of security equipment-Reliability Testing-

Test Background

Security alarm equipment, such as some surveillance cameras, can operate in environments ranging from minus 40 degrees to 70 degrees. It is usually not possible to directly identify the working status of the camera from its appearance during the day. Cold temperatures can easily cause the mechanical transmission part of the camera to freeze, causing it to fail.
Zhongke Testing Environmental Reliability Experiment Center has various environmental testing equipment for security alarm equipment and has low-temperature testing capabilities. It provides professional low-temperature testing services for intrusion alarm systems, video surveillance systems, remote receiving and monitoring centers and other equipment.

APPLICATION RANGE

Safety alarm equipment used in any environment requires high temperature testing.

Trial objective

The purpose of the low-temperature test is mainly to test the ability of the equipment to operate normally in the expected low-temperature use environment.

Test method

The test sample is placed at low temperature for a long enough time to allow the temperature to stabilize, and functional testing and/or monitoring is performed. Simulating free air conditions takes into account the self-heating effect of the heat dissipation test sample.

Test standard:

GB/T 15211-2013 Safety and alarm equipment Environmental adaptability requirements and test methods
GB/T 2421.1-2008 Environmental testing of electrical and electronic products Part 1: Overview and guidance
GB/T 2423.1 Environmental testing of electrical and electronic products Part 2: Test methods Test A: Low temperature
