Test Background
The heat-and-moisture resistance test is one of the three-proof tests for products (moisture-proof, mildew-proof, and salt-spray-proof). It is widely used in the field of electronic and electrical technology to test the heat-moisture resistance of various surface coatings, as well as for condition adjustment and performance testing of thermal insulation materials before experiments.
Moisture and heat will have physical and chemical effects on products: metal oxidation or electrochemical corrosion, corrosion layers produced by the interaction of surface water vapor and foreign attachments; material expansion due to absorption effects, reduction in physical strength, changes in electrical insulation and heat insulation properties; electrical short circuits, changes in heat conduction properties, etc. Therefore, the product's heat and humidity resistance test is very important.
