The applicant, a hotel, signed a "Fan Coil Purchase Contract" with an air-conditioning equipment company, the respondent, agreeing to purchase 200 units of FP-68WA coil units for guest room renovation. After being put into operation, many coils experienced condensate leakage and excessive noise (actually measured 55dB), leading to customer complaints. The hotel believed that the equipment had quality defects and demanded compensation for losses. The equipment company argued that the problem was caused by improper installation, and both parties took the matter to court.

Identification analysis results:

The quality analysis expert group discussed and comprehensively analyzed the relevant information of "fan coil", contract technical agreement, on-site investigation case materials and other data, and made the following quality analysis opinions:
