Melting point detection

When the crystal is heated to a certain temperature, it immediately changes from solid to liquid. The temperature at this time can be regarded as the melting point of the substance. Any pure solid organic compound has a constant melting point, and the melting point distance generally does not exceed 1°C. Therefore, by measuring the melting point, unknown solid organic compounds can be identified and the purity of the organic compounds can be judged.
