Classification and identification of hazardous characteristics

Hazardous chemicals are widely used in various industries and have brought indispensable benefits to modern society. However, due to its inherent dangerous characteristics, vicious accidents often occur during road transportation, air transportation, railway transportation, and water transportation. Therefore, it is crucial to classify dangerous goods and understand the chemical properties of hazardous chemicals. Classification and identification of hazardous characteristics is to make classification identification and recommendations on the transportation safety of goods based on domestic and foreign regulations and standards related to the transportation of dangerous goods.

Dangerous Goods refer to those substances or items that are harmful to personal safety, public safety and environmental safety. "Model Recommendations and Regulations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods" divides dangerous goods into nine categories:
Category 1: Explosive substances or articles
Category 2: Gases, flammable gases, non-flammable and non-toxic gases, Toxic gas
Category 3: Flammable liquid
Category 4: Flammable solids; substances prone to spontaneous combustion; substances that release flammable gases when exposed to water, flammable solids, substances prone to spontaneous combustion, substances that emit flammable gases when exposed to water Substances
Category 5: oxidizing substances, organic peroxides, oxidizing substances, organic peroxides
Category 6: Toxic substances and infectious substances
Category 7: Radioactive substances
Category 8: Corrosive substances
Category 9: Miscellaneous hazardous substances and articles, including environmentally hazardous substances
