Appraisal Background
Wood that meets the standard quality is not easy to bend during the decoration process, and it is not easy to rot or mold after decoration. However, wood that does not meet the standard quality is very easy to decay and is not durable. When exposed to the sun or the environment is too dry, it will crack, crack or deform. The quality of wood affects the overall quality of the decoration project.
Zhongke Testing provides building materials product quality appraisal services. It can conduct appraisal work on whether there are problems with wood-related quality, issue professional and reliable inspection reports, and assist courts and enterprises in resolving product quality disputes.

Authentication case
A large shopping mall purchased a batch of wood for construction during renovation, but when receiving the goods, it was discovered that the batch of wood was inconsistent with the model. The timber company emphasized that the batch of wood was of the same quality but had different colors. However, during use, the mall found that the quality of the batch of wood was poor and was too different from the previous contract, so the two parties negotiated for product quality appraisal.
The expert group asked both parties to provide the agreed contract and sample standards, and then tested the various properties of the batch of wood. Finally, according to the test report, it was found that the appearance, material and other items of the wood submitted by the wood company did not meet the contract stipulations, and the impact toughness, hardness and other indicators were lower than the national standards, making it unqualified. The appraisal concluded that some indicators of the batch of timber did not meet national standards, and also did not meet the contract requirements between the parties.
