Test Background
Peel strength refers to the force required to peel a fusible lining from a standard fabric. The peel strength of the fusible lining is an important physical index of the fusible lining and one of the key factors to measure the quality of the fusible lining. The requirements for peel strength of the lining cloth for different uses are also different, but the prerequisite is to ensure strong adhesion.
The adhesive lining peel test measures the peel strength of the adhesive lining after it is bonded to a standard fabric. Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has reliability testing capabilities for various textiles and provides professional peeling test services for fusible interlinings.
Scope of tests
is suitable for fusible interlining based on woven fabrics, knitted fabrics and non-woven fabrics of various materials.
Test method
1. For a combined sample of a bonded lining and a standard fabric, peel off the bonded lining and the standard fabric for a length at a constant speed under specified conditions, and record the peeling curve during the peeling process of the sample to calculate the peeling strength of the sample.
2. During the peeling process, the required peeling force value is a random variable, and the force curve is recorded. Record the peak values on the stress curve during the peeling process of the adhesive lining and the standard fabric, and calculate the average value and dispersion coefficient of these peak values.
3. Use the average value to reflect the firmness of the bonding, and use the discrete coefficient to reflect the uniformity of the bonding.
