Test Background
paint film circling test can evaluate the degree of peeling of the paint film from the substrate when overlapping circular roller lines are drawn through the paint film to the substrate. It is suitable for the circling test of a single flat paint film on a hard substrate.

Scope of tests
1) According to use: there are wood paint, iron paint, glass paint, aluminum paint;
2) Divided by state: water-based paint and oil-based paint. Water-based paint is mainly latex paint, while lacquer paint, polyurethane paint, etc.;
3) According to the form of action: volatile paint and non-volatile paint;
4) According to the surface effect: transparent paint, translucent paint and opaque paint.
Test method
1. Fix the test panel on a front and rear movable test stand. While the test stand moves, the rotating needle that moves in a circle scratches through the paint film and can make scratches that overlap the circular lines.
2. The destructive effect on the paint film is not only the vertical pressure, but also the torsion generated by the rotating movement of the rotating needle.
