Palletizing resistance test of paints and varnishes

The paint and varnish stacking resistance test can, under standard conditions, measure the damage resistance of single coatings and composite coating systems of paints or related products when they are placed in contact under pressure between two painted surfaces or between one painted surface and another surface after being fully dried within the specified drying time.
Zhongke Testing Reliability Experiment Center has the capability of reliability testing of various paints and varnishes, and provides professional palletizing resistance test services for paints and varnishes.

Color paint is divided into primer and topcoat: primer is divided into primer, putty, mid-coat, sealer, anti-rust paint, etc.; topcoat is divided into enamel paint, special topcoat, etc.
The paint and film of varnish are transparent and are divided into ester varnish, shellac varnish, phenolic varnish, alkyd varnish, acrylic varnish, polyester varnish, high-performance varnish, fluorocarbon varnish, etc.

1. Unless otherwise agreed, the test shall be repeated three times at a temperature of (23±2)°C and a relative humidity of (50±5)%.
2. The test pieces overlap each other at an angle of (90±2)°, and the surfaces are in close contact. The damaged areas on the test pieces should overlap as little as possible when arranging.
3. Place the test piece on the base as above, so that the pressure column completely covers the square in contact. The agreed load is placed on the pressure column, and then all the mass is slowly placed on the contact surface of the two test pieces and held for the specified time.
4. After the specified time, remove the pressure column and separate the test pieces. Check the coating on the contact surface for any damage, such as visible marks, adhesion of the test piece and peeling of the coating.
