Solid tire durability test

Solid tires are a type of tire corresponding to pneumatic tires (hollow tires). The carcass is solid and does not use cords as a skeleton and does not need to be inflated, so it does not require an inner tube or airtight layer. The earliest tires were solid tires. Solid tires are only used for high-load vehicles or machinery traveling at low speeds, and are also used for fixed-position machinery. Solid tire durability testing can be determined.

Solid tires are generally divided into two types: bonded and non-bonded. The former refers to tires where the rubber is directly vulcanized on the rim, and the latter refers to tires where the rubber is vulcanized and then fixed on the rim.
According to the shape, there are two types: cylindrical solid tires and inclined bottom solid tires;
According to the purpose, they are divided into antistatic, conductive, oil-resistant, high-load solid tires, environmentally friendly non-marking solid tires, etc.

1. Fix the prepared test tire and wheel vehicle assembly to the durability testing machine, and measure the initial temperature in the temperature measuring hole of the test tire.
2. Apply the specified stage 1 test load. Start the testing machine drum at a uniform acceleration to the specified speed.
3. Carry out the test according to the prescribed procedures. The running interval is 5 minutes, and there should be no load during the interval.
4. During the test, each temperature measurement should be performed within 1 minute after the drum stops at the end of the test phase. The temperature measuring rod should be inserted into the bottom of the tire temperature measuring hole, and the reading should be taken when the temperature reaches equilibrium.
