Test Background
Dip cords can be divided into two categories: polyester dipped cords and nylon dipped cords. They are widely used in three major fields: conveyor belts, hoses and tires, of which conveyor belts are the main type. The bonding strength test of dipped cords can use the T-extraction method to measure the bonding strength of dipped cords and vulcanized rubber.

Scope of tests
Rubber-impregnated soft cord and rubber-impregnated hard cord made of chemical fiber;
Impregnated fiberglass rope made of fiberglass;
Dip yarn and dipped cord made of chemical fiber.
Test method
Place the T-shaped rubber sample made from the rubber-impregnated cord and rubber vulcanized into the test fixture, and use a tensile testing machine to measure the force required to pull the impregnated cord out of the vulcanized rubber block. The ratio of the pull-out force to the thickness of the rubber block in the direction in which the cord is pulled out is the bonding strength of the impregnated cord. Use this bonding strength to evaluate the static bonding performance of the impregnated cord and vulcanized rubber.
