The applicant, an auto parts company, signed a "Multi-station Cold Heading Machine Purchase Contract" with a forging equipment factory, the respondent, to purchase two TD-800 equipment for the production of wheel hub bolts. During the debugging phase, 30% of the product's thread leads were out of tolerance, resulting in customer claims. The parts company accused the equipment of insufficient accuracy, and the equipment factory argued that the operator failed to preheat the mold.

The appraisal conclusion concluded that the equipment factory failed to control the mechanical accuracy and mold heat treatment process in accordance with the agreement, and system control defects were the root cause of the quality problem.
