A food company of the applicant signed a "Fully Automatic Steam Sterilization Equipment Purchase Contract" with a machinery manufacturing company of the respondent, agreeing to purchase 4 units of model QS-100 equipment for can sterilization. After the equipment was put into production, many batches of cans had problems with can expansion and excessive microorganisms, leading to product recalls. The food company believed that the equipment had a design defect and demanded compensation for losses. The machinery company argued that the problem was caused by improper material pre-processing or operation, and both parties went to court. The court entrusted a third-party appraisal agency to conduct quality appraisal of the equipment involved in the case.

Identification and analysis results:

The quality analysis expert group discussed and comprehensively analyzed the relevant information of "steaming equipment", contract technical agreements, on-site investigation case materials and other data, and made the following quality analysis opinions:
