Tractor qualityAppraisal Background

A tractor refers to a vehicle specially used to tow trailers, trailers and other load-carrying vehicles. It is also called a tractor, tractor, traction tractor, etc.
tractor is composed of chassis, cab, power system, braking system, suspension system, steering system, electrical system, etc. Among them, the power system is the core part of the tractor, including the engine, gearbox, drive axle, etc. The braking system is more important, including air braking system and hydraulic braking system. The steering system is the part used to control the steering of the front wheels of the tractor, and the suspension system is an important guarantee for ensuring the smooth driving of the vehicle.
In the case of tractor quality appraisal, Zhongke Testing can provide tractor quality appraisal services.

Tractor qualityAuthentication case

A freight forwarder purchased a tractor with a towing weight of 37 tons for cargo transportation. Half a year later, the driver Yu discovered something abnormal in the wheel while driving. At the instruction of the company, he went to the repair shop for maintenance. After the inspection,
maintenance staff Wang discussed with Yu to disassemble the rear wheel for detailed inspection to find out the cause of the friction. Yu agreed. However, when Wang was dismantling the wheel, the tire rim blew off and Wang was seriously injured. Unfortunately, he died when he was sent to the hospital for rescue.
was entrusted by the public security agency to conduct an appraisal and analysis on "whether there are quality problems" with the tractor involved in the case.
appraisal analysis results: The
appraisal analysis expert group discussed the relevant information and on-site investigation of the tractor involved and made a comprehensive quality and technical analysis, and made the following suggestions and conclusions:
based on the design drawings provided by the tractor manufacturer, it was found that the welds represented in the drawings were all circumferential welds, but in the actual inspection the outer ring welds were intermittent four-section welds, which were different from the design in the drawings. The fracture location was near the heat-affected zone of the weld. From the process documents, it can be found that there was no treatment work before and after the wheel hub was welded, resulting in a relatively weak welding heat-affected zone.
In addition, it was also found from the information provided that at the time of the accident, the actual load of the vehicle involved was close to 60 tons, far exceeding the 37-ton load mark.
In summary, there are defects in the manufacturing process of the vehicle. At the same time, the vehicle involved has been severely overloaded for a long time, resulting in fatigue damage and continuous expansion of cracks. Vehicle users also lack regular inspection and maintenance of their vehicles. Various reasons lead to accidents.
