A drying kiln is a device used to dry items. It usually includes a heating system, an air supply system and an exhaust system. The heating system of the drying kiln can be gas, oil, electric heating, etc. The air supply system can send hot air into the drying kiln through a fan. The exhaust system can expel the air with high humidity in the kiln to speed up the drying of items.

A cement processing plant signed a "Drying Kiln Construction Contract" with an engineering company, agreeing that the technology company would contract for a set of drying kiln equipment. After the completion of the project, the cement processing plant discovered that the drying kiln had serious quality problems during use, such as uneven temperature and low drying efficiency. The food processing plant believed that the problem was the construction quality of the engineering company, while the engineering company insisted that the construction was in accordance with the design requirements, resulting in a dispute between the two parties. .

The quality analysis expert group discussed and comprehensively analyzed the relevant information, on-site investigation and inspection data of the "drying kiln" involved in the case, and made the following quality analysis opinions:
1. The design of the "drying kiln" involved in the case was unreasonable, resulting in uneven temperature distribution during the drying process.
2. There were corners-cutting during the construction process, resulting in insufficient structural strength of the drying kiln.
