The granulator and two-stage cooler of the production line involved in the case had belts and supporting wheels. The severe wear was due to the fact that the component was installed without considering that the drum would deform when the drum was filled with materials and would reduce the contact area between the wheel belt and the supporting wheel. The large cross coupling gap in the granulator of the
production line involved caused damage to the bottom plate of the reducer and pinion bearing seat. This was caused by the excessive coaxiality of the part during installation.
