The dust removal efficiency of the bag dust collector being used by a company did not meet the standard, and the filter bag was broken. An appraisal agency was specially commissioned to conduct a quality appraisal of the dust bag. The
expert team arrived at the site for investigation. Through on-site inspection and analysis of the manufacturing process, they believed that the number of filter bags configured was too small, resulting in a small total filtration area, resulting in a large filtration wind speed, reducing the efficiency of the dust collector and aggravating bag wear:
1. On-site investigation: DCS data was retrieved on-site to check the smoke and dust parameters at the inlet and outlet of the bag dust collector. Refer to GB/T 6719-2009 "Technical Requirements for Bag Dust Collector" and other standards to detect the smoke and dust concentration at the inlet and outlet of the bag dust collector and calculate the dust removal efficiency. Static inspection of the appearance of the dust collector. Check the number and configuration of filter bags inside the dust collector. Sampling the filter bag for testing;
2, appraisal opinion: Through on-site investigation, it was confirmed that the dust removal efficiency did not meet the standard, the current status of the filter bag was recently replaced, and the sampling test results showed that the material and specification model were consistent with the technical agreement. Based on the information obtained from the on-site investigation, a total of 207 bags are equipped with the bag dust collector. If the filter wind speed of the bag dust collector is too fast, it will accelerate the secondary flying of the dust, destroy the first layer, and reduce the dust removal efficiency. On the other hand, the friction of the dust will cause the wear of the filter bag to increase. According to the calculation formula, the total number of bag dust bag configurations is theoretically calculated: the number of 207 bags equipped with the
involved dust collector is too small, and the total filtration area is too small, resulting in too high filtration wind speed, which will reduce the efficiency of the dust collector and aggravate the bag wear.
