wet electrostatic precipitator is a new type of dust removal equipment used to deal with trace amounts of dust and fine particles. It is mainly used to remove dust, acid mist, aerosols, PM2.5 and other harmful substances in moist gases. It is an ideal equipment for controlling fine particles and dust pollution in exhaust gas.

Wet type electrostatic precipitators and dry type electrostatic precipitators, that is, the dust removal working principles of electrostatic precipitators are basically the same. They all go through three stages of charging, dust collection and dust cleaning. Charging means first charging the dust through high-voltage discharge. The charged dust reaches the dust collecting pipe or dust collecting plate under the action of the positive and negative electric field force, and then the dust is cleaned.

According to the information provided by the client, the supplier and the buyer signed a contract to customize a wet electrostatic precipitator system including a fiberglass flue. During the installation process of the supplier, the buyer found that the thickness of the middle part of the fiberglass flue did not meet the technical agreement requirements. In order to ascertain the facts, the purchaser proposed to evaluate the thickness of the "glass fiber reinforced plastic flue of the wet electrostatic precipitator system" involved in the case, and to evaluate whether its structural strength meets the safety requirements stipulated in the standard.

The identification expert group discussed and comprehensively analyzed the relevant information, on-site investigation and inspection conditions and calculation results of the "wet electrostatic precipitator system fiberglass flue" involved in the case, and made the following identification opinions:
