Aluminum veneer quality appraisal

Aluminum veneer is a kind of building decoration material that uses aluminum or aluminum alloy as the base material, is processed into shape and coated with decorative paint. It has the advantages of light weight, high strength, good decoration and processability.

Aluminum veneer is widely used, mainly used in building curtain walls, indoor and outdoor decoration, billboards, signboards, etc. In building curtain walls, aluminum veneers not only play a decorative role, but also provide heat insulation, sound insulation and anti-corrosion effects. Its lightweight and high-strength properties make it ideal for high-rise buildings and long-span structures. In addition, the decorative nature of aluminum veneers makes them very popular in decorative fields such as indoor and outdoor walls, ceilings, and elevator rooms. Aluminum veneer can also be used to manufacture products of various shapes and sizes, such as furniture, lamps, auto parts, etc., to meet different design and functional needs.

Aluminum veneer quality identification can be analyzed from the following aspects:

1. Corrosion test
You can drop dilute sodium hydroxide solution (2% ~ 5%) on the product surface and cover it (to prevent the solution from drying and deterioration). After a few hours, observe that the paint film should be corrosion-free.
2. Look at the thickness:
According to national standards, the thickness of exterior wall panels should be 4 mm and the thickness of aluminum panels should be 0.5 mm; the thickness of interior wall panels should be 3 mm and the thickness of aluminum panels should be 0.2 mm; the aluminum panels of exterior wall panels are obviously harder than the aluminum panels of interior wall panels.
3, peeling test:
The aluminum plate and the core layer should be difficult to peel off. After peeling off, there should be a roughened film on both the aluminum plate and the plastic core material.
4. Observation after boiling:
Boil the sample for 2 hours and observe after cooling. There should be no glue opening between the aluminum plate and the plastic. According to the method introduced above, to check the paint adhesion, use a sharp blade to mark some 1 mm × 1 mm squares on the paint surface (the paint film should be scratched through to the aluminum plate), and then use Stick the tape firmly on the square and then tear it off quickly, the paint film should not fall off;
